Aaron and Anderson Beck

BECK, Aaron and Anderson, passed on Tuesday June 28, 2022. Anderson was born on December 23, 2020, in Midlothian, Virginia. He was the first and only child of Laura and Aaron Beck. He was the brightest light that brought his family together and was deeply loved by his parents and surrounding family. He was a beautiful, outgoing and intelligent little boy that lived in a family that was full of love and promise. Aaron Tyler Beck was born on August 8, 1984. He was father to Anderson Beck and husband to Laura Beck. He graduated from Bethlehem Center and studied at Drexel University. He fed his curiosity beyond the bounds of school by reading widely and attaining skills on his own. He applied himself diligently to his profession as a draftsman and was meticulous and steadfast in his work. His career was important to him; but it was not the focus of his life. Rather, work was the means that allowed him to pursue his biggest dream: becoming a father and building a family with his wife, Laura. Aaron loved to be in nature. He spent his youth exploring in the woods, and as an adult he often took camping trips alone with his dog, Miles, or with friends and family members. He balanced his independence with his love for the company of family and good friends, such as the close-knit group that he maintained from his high school and college years. He was respected and loved by his friends, who valued his humbleness, tolerance and compassion. In his recent years, his most devoted focus was his son, Anderson, to whom he gave enormous and endless love. He was generous, kind, caring and soft with his son. The selflessness of his love was a testament to the possibilities of fatherhood, to the possibilities of the heart. He sacrificed his life to his son in an act of profound devotion and love. He will be remembered by his family as a generous and loving son, brother and father, and all who knew him honor the deep love he felt for his wife and his beloved son, Anderson. Anderson's and Aaron's lives were interwoven in life and death. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 3, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road, Richmond, Virginia.
