Ann Behne Obituary

Ann Martha Behne, 72, of Glen Allen, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died October 15, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jim Behne; her children, Bill Behne and his wife, Jeanne, of Amarillo, Texas, Barbara Behne Dyer and her husband, Brian, of Fredericksburg, Va., Jim Behne and his wife, Julie; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters and three brothers. Ann was a former member of Richmond Country Club where she enjoyed golf and tennis, she also was a member of CrossRidge Women's Club. The family will receive friends in the Woody Funeral Home-Parham Chapel, 1771 Parham Rd., Monday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Eucharist will be celebrated 2 p.m. Tuesday with visitation one hour prior at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Michaels Catholic Church, 4491 Springfield Rd., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.

Jim, I was saddened to learn of Ann's passing and wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. She was a real fighter and carried herself in such a courageous and meaningful way. Her loss will be hard for you and your family. Please take care of youself, old friend.
