Martha Banks:
There are simply no words that can express how much Pastor Banks will be missed. I hope that you find peace in these words: Our faith tells us that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Please find comfort in knowing that the Lord will shepherd and guide you with strength during this difficult time. I weep with you but know that joy comes in the morning.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dear Ashlie...the loss of a Dad is a momentous occasion in the life of a woman. Be comforted in the knowledge that you were a treasured daughter and a beloved friend of your Dad. While you weep also rejoice and give praises to God for the life of a fine man who worked hard and was faithful to his upbringing and values. To God be the Glory for the life of Anthony Banks! Our condolences to the Banks family. Tony was a trusted worker and friend to everyone. I had the pleasure of working with Tony at Owens & Minor and shared work experiences with Tony from both of us having worked at the Surpreme Court of Virginia. He always shared a smile and natural caring attitude towards everyone and everything he did. We miss him but will remember his smile and grow from having had him touch us all so positively.

Sis. Martha,

Please know my prayers are with you at this time. Pastor Tony has much fruit that has been accounted to his eternal treasure. I will always glean from his passion for street witnessing. Just know that the example he set here in the earth will continue to minister to many of us on the battlefield of Christ.

Sis. Martha, may God continue to comfort you and saturate you with His sweet Spirit and glorious presence.

God bless you
