It has been fifteen years since your passing and it's still heart wrenching to me. Missing the fact that I can't call you to say hello, are you okay, will you come by today or this weekend? Missing the fact that I can't show or tell you that I love you. Missing the fact that we will never be able to spend father son quality time with one another. I miss you so much son. Happy Birthday from your heart broken loving dad. You will always be missed. Forever in my heart.

To everyone who loved Antwan: I just learned of his death today (12/9)when I stopped in at Puritan Cleaners. I fully expected Antwan to be there with my clothes all ready before I even got out of the car. That was the kind of service he provided his customers. Always a gentleman, he made doing business there a pleasure. I will miss him. My thoughts are with you.

To the entire Hicks family - I am simply stunned that something like this has happened to Antwan. I am a customer at Puritan Cleaners and he was such a pleasure to deal with, always ready with a smile. Often my clothes were hanging there waiting for me before I even came through the door. He has been on my mind ever since I heard the news earlier this week. I thought you might like to hear from a customer who was very fond of Antwan.
Sincerely, Anne Jones

To the Hicks and Thorpe Family. It is evident that Antwan was very much loved by so many people. He apparently touch so many people live in a very special way. God chose him to be an inspiration and a blessing to those who knew him. I lost touch with him when he was around six years old, but during that time he was a joy to my mother and very much loved by his maternal parent, uncles, aunt and his grandmom Mary. He was loved by his brothers and I only pray that they will look back and see how he chose to live his life as a very respect-able young man". God has taken home an "Angel" to work in his Kingdom. May the love of God abide with each of you.

To My Sweet Friend Vanessa and Family:
May the love of God comfort your hearts and know that you are in our prayers. Twan cherished his loving family and his very sweet mother. You gave him love and happiness and offered him to God; now Twan is resting in God's care. Often, we know not when or why but we know Who. God bless you all.

To Ms. Thorpe and Family:
Antwan was a wonderful person and a great patient. I often told him,if he were only about 10 years younger he would be my boyfriend. He came by the office often, even when he didn't have an appointment, just to say, "hello". He will be greatly missed. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. With deepest sympathy, Sharon and the staff of Dr. Randy Adams.
