CALL, Bobby W., 75, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robbie Call Dimmette and Junius E. Call. Bobby is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie M. Call; children, Stephen Dale Call (Nicole) and Kevin Paige Call; one special grandson, Jacob Ryan Call; sister, Patsy Crabtree; brother, Edward M. Call; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and retired from Philip Morris with 35 years of service. Bobby loved his home in South Hill Banks and spending time there with family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.

I´m sending pictures I saved from 1969 Christmas together in Anke VietNam.He and I served together or near each other our whole military service time. He will be missed. I hope God is showing Bob his awesome love where they are today.

I went to elementary school with Bobby and Patsy. I also worked with Patsy at the Federal Reserve Bank. Thank you Bobby for your Military service in Vietnam. Sending thoughts and prayers to Bobby's family.
