Cindy Clisham Obituary

CLISHAM, Cindy, peacefully joined our Heavenly Father on the morning of December 26, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, loving mother to two children, and the adored companion of Bentley (her golden retriever), Cindy's joyous and warm spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Cindy pursued her education at Radford University before transferring to Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned her degree in Business Administration and Management. Her impactful career in project management led to early success in Virginia and California. Survived by her two daughters, Britney (partner Brandon Leclair) and Leah (husband Nick Ferri); as well as siblings, John, Debbie, and Linda. Cindy will be deeply missed for her abundant kindness and fun-loving spirit. She embraced life with a delightful blend of silliness, elegance, and motherly warmth, leaving an indelible imprint on everyone she encountered.

The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, December 30 at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 2 at St Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Westhampton Memorial Park. In honor of Cindy's colorful spirit, we encourage you to dress as vibrantly as you see fit. In lieu of flowers, we ask contributions be made to Cindy's favorite charity: Make A Wish Foundation.
