Dora D. Coates

COATES Dora D. Coates, 92, of Ashland, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 19, 2007, after a short illness. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Burnett of Ashland, Virginia and Diane Coates of Ontario, Canada; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Clara Earp of Richmond, Virginia. She leaves behind many beloved friends. There will be a visitation for the family and friends in the Chapel of St. Ann's Catholic Church from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday with a mass to follow. The interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michaels Road, Richmond, Va. 23229. Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, assisting the family.
