Ellis Payton "Billy Boy" Whitlock

WHITLOCK, Ellis "Billy Boy" Payton, of Henrico, passed away on March 18, 2024, at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and William Whitlock; his sisters, Joyce Eades and Brenda Latham; and his brother, Roger Whitlock. He leaves behind his sister-in-law, Martha Whitlock; nephews, James Eades (Ellen) and Ray Whitlock (Katy); his niece, Rachel Whitlock (Chris) and great-niece and nephew, Layla Whitlock and Thomas Jackson, along with many other nieces and nephews. Ellis was a lifelong pigeon enthusiast. He started raising them in his childhood with his father and raced them every chance he got growing up. He enjoyed his early morning breakfast and get-togethers with his "Hardee's Gang". Ellis was a very loving and caring person and was loved by many that crossed paths with him. Ellis will be missed dearly.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 22 at Bliley's-Staples Mill and burial will take place after at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
