Eric Truscott Obituary

Eric Daniel Truscott of Alton, VA, passed away unexpectedly on May 28th, 2024 at the age of 37 years old. He was born on May 5th, 1987 in Susquehanna, PA to Mary Lou Truscott, 67 currently residing in Dover, NJ and Eddy Neels who is currently deceased. In addition to his wife, Kimberly A. Truscott and son Eric Daniel Truscott, Jr., 13, he is survived by his mother, and two siblings Zamira A. (Serrano) Sanchez and Benjamin Serrano and his niece and nephew. He is also survived by his grandmother Mary B. Truscott, 86, his aunt Margaret E. (Truscott) Barreto and cousins. Eric lived most of his childhood in Northern New Jersey and spent his adult life in different areas of North Carolina, but his last years were spent in Virginia surrounded by friends that were like family. He was known for his charm, his humor, his generosity, and his handyman work. He knew a little bit about everything and will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. A memorial gathering and celebration of life will be held by his immediate family and friends.

From the first day we met Eric he was a friend. Hard worker, always upbeat personality, willing to tackle any project at hand. We enjoyed his wit on a trip to GA and back. He was our chauffeur my husband an myself. Eric drove 12hrs down, 10hrs back, he was a trooper..mind you it was a hard trip but such bonding time, we played trivia (that dude was sharp) lots of laughter.....His time was short lived in our lives, but what an impact he left us...peace be with you
