Frances Harner Spry

Frances Harner Spry, 79, of Chesterfield, passed away March 15, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband, William R. Spry; a son, Stanley R. Spry; grandson, Curtis Noel; and a brother, Earl A. Harner. She leaves to cherish lasting memories, her daughter, Carol C. Noel and her husband, Charlie; two granddaughters, Angela Brittingham and her husband, Mike, and Julie Ruth and her husband, Jason; two great-granddaughters, Lauren and Gracie Brittingham; one son, Thomas Spry and his wife, Kate; two grandsons, Stanley and Toby Spry; one sister, Dorothy H. Wright and her husband, Horace; and three nephews, Randy and Buster Wright, and Bud Harner. Mrs. Spry was retired from Universal Leaf Tobacco Company. Her family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Belmont United Methodist Church, 3510 Broad Rock Blvd. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.
