December 1, 1941 - June 4, 2025
Chenault, Guy David, 83 of Aylett, Virginia.
A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and lifelong farmer, went to be with his lord in heaven on June 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Freddie Guy Chenault and Alma Annie Chenault, his brother Joseph Larry Chenault (Nancy). He is survived by his beloved wife Sue, son's Daniel and JoJo, granddaughter Tinsley, niece Jessica Whitehead, and his furry companion "Pearl." The family will receive friends Saturday June 14th 11 a.m.-12 p.m., for visitation followed by service 12 p.m.-1 p.m., at Richmond Coach and Cremation Service located at 8500 Staples Mill Road Richmond, Virginia 23228. A private burial will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park.

Mr. Chenault was the father of one of my students, Jojo. In my interactions with Mr. Chenault, I could tell he wanted the best for his son. He shared with me how he acquired his first farm and I knew this was a very resourceful, hard-working man. I know he loved the simple family things like Friday night suppers at Cracker Barrel. On the few occasions that I was able to spend with him, his lovely, devoted wife, and his sweet, loving younger son, he always made me feel welcome and relaxed at his home. I will miss seeing him at the family home when I come back to Virginia to visit. May GOD continue to look over and bless the Chenault family and may the family feel peace in the assurance that Mr. Chenault is with the LORD.
