James Glass Obituary
James is survived by his lovely wife, Marcia Seldon Glass whom he married on June 16, 1993; They recently celebrated 30 years of matrimony.
James leaves to mourn: two sisters, Shirley W. Moon and Clara G. Brown (Dempsey Riddick); preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew L. and Lowell Glass; children Patrice Ross and Kenyon Carter; a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. Isabella Antionette Glass, their loving Chihuahua and fur baby, will definitely miss James' early morning walks and time spent together once he retired.Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home 1827 Hull Street where family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. and a celebration of life will be Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment private.

James was a very special friend. We went to high school together and graduated in the 1969 class at Carver High .Later on we worked at Philip Morris until retirement. He will be missed and remembered for that unique laugh and he passed on my birthday. Condolences to his family as they go through their grieving period. Remember earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. He is with the Lord now resting in peace and praising God RIP friend. Shirley and Clara we are praying for your strength and comfort as you grieve and miss your brother.
