James R. "Jamie" Mann

James "Jamie" R. Mann died Tuesday, November 30, 2004. He was the son of the late William Bernard and Ruth Naomi Mann and was predeceased by a sister, Frances Kidd Reeves. Jamie was a general contractor and draftsman and the owner of Eastwood Construction Company. He was a member of the Petersburg Civitan Club, Saints and Sinners, and a trustee of Epiphany Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley P. Mann; a daughter, Denise M. Kost and husband, Nick; granddaughter, Basia D. Kost, all of Prince George; grandson, Jeremy C. Kost and wife, Renee; great-grandson, J.R. Kost of Carson, Va.; brother, Butch Mann of Maryland; sister, Barbara Kinsey of Florida; niece, Jann Kidd Cyphers and husband, Dennis, of Chester; nephew, Naurice Wilton Kidd II and wife, Tammara, of Richmond; cousins, Terri S. Reekes and husband, Tommy, of Ettrick and Robin S. Fitzpatrick and husband, Rory, of Norfolk. The family will receive friends Friday, December 3, 2004, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, December 4, 2004, at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Malcolm Hutton of the Epiphany Baptist Church and Rev.
