I only learned of James death recently. We were mates from our days at VUU and reconnected again when I was a Med student and he was a Dental student at HU. His jovial demeanor made conversations easy and I valued his friendship. I am sure that he brought that same esprit de corps many others. I send belated but sincere condolences to his family. Rest in peace good friend and rise in glory.

The quality of a man cannot be measured in the length of time that one knows him. I knew McC for but a brief time; yet he demonstrated quiet charm, dignity, knowledge, and love for the Black community. I shall miss him but never forget him. I pray God's blessings upon his family.

Dr McCain and I worked on the dental van together and developed a great friendship. We kept in touch after it closed. I will miss him terribly with his little laugh. He was one of the great ones!!! May God bless his family doing this time. You have my sincere condolences.

My deepest condolences to the family of Dr. McCain in this time of sadness. James was a giving and caring member of his community. His participation with my missionary team in Haiti, post-earthquake added a richness that we will long remember. Rest in peace, James.

So sorry for your lost. We talked just a few weeks ago.We worked together for so long at the East End Medical Center. We kept the relationship going after both of us retired.
