I look at your picture and pain and disbelief still grip my heart 5 years later. I still think of those days when we were kids: you, Kermit, Michelle and me running and playing, spending time together in the country, eating ice cream, crabbing with chicken fat hanging from a string. Those are my best memories. My last time I saw you was at mom's and dad's 50th wedding anniversary - you and Denise shared a table with Ian and me. I couldn't imagine that would be the last time I'd see your face, James. My only consolation in this insanity, this angering nonsense is that by the grace and mercy of God we will again be family, in that Day when He returns. You're my brother/my first cousin, and a chunk of my heart died with you.
