My heart goes out to the Burton family. I grew up with Jeremy and Jermaine and have known them for at least 24 years (since we were 6 years old). I have so many great childhood memories with both of them. I pray that you all focus on the good times you had with Jermaine, who was such a nice and sweet person. God bless the Burton family.

Although, the passing of a love one causes some much pain remember God makes no mistakes. Burton was truly a God sent person that brought laughter into my world. He was always helpful and had a smile on his face letting me know everything is going to be alright. My co-worker will be truly missed. Such a warm smile, an energetic spirit, a kind and helpful man. We worked together infrequently but when I learned you were no longer with us I broke down as if I had lost a best friend. You were a blessing to everyone around you. So sorry & sad your gone. You will be missed by all and forgotten by none. To the Burton family- you all are in my prayers. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Burton family during these most trying of times. JB was a one of a kind person who could light up a room and lift your spirits with a simple hello. When I first switched platoons he was the first person to make me feel as if I had been there the whole time and he made me feel like I belonged. Never a frown or negative statement to make; he continually showed a light inside his heart day in a day out. You will be missed every single day but know you will not be forgotten. Wow....I can't believe I am writing this for you and about you. Everyone always said that I spoiled you, and I did, how could I not. Whenever you made me mad, all you had to do was smile and you would get yourself out of trouble. I took care of you because you took care of me. There was nothing I asked of you that you would not do, no matter the task, the time, or the hard work required. You would always do everything with a smile, pat my shoulder and say you always had my back. I was not blessed to have children, but If I had a son I would want him to be genuine,good,kind,loving, and respectable just as you were. J. B. you left us too soon.
