Kenneth Clarke Obituary

Kenneth E. "Kenny" Clarke, 50, of Varina, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 3, 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Pauline Clarke; and his brother, David Clarke. He is survived by his sister, Judith Bruce; nieces, Michele Lamphere, Torie Shirley and her husband, Shaun, Jodi Porch and her husband, Justin; great-niece, Sandy Shirley; sister-in-law, Pam Clarke; and devoted family and friends. Remains rest at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Ave., where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, and where funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday. Interment Hardy Central Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hardy Central Baptist Church or Henrico Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Kenny, you were a favorite cousin. You were also a great friend, fishing partner and race partner. I will always have the memories of you and I going to the races and fishing. I will miss you always. We will also miss you at the cookouts and functions. Judy and Michelle and the rest of your family have our deepenst sympathy. I know you were very special to them and they will miss you forever.
