I just today (7-3-2024) learned of your passing and it brought back memory's of you and your Plymouth GTX coming to the Citgo service station where I worked and putting it on the rack after the boss left. If you find our old cars, save my GTO for me and you owe me a re match!! Rest in peace old friend.

Marshall was a truly delightful man. When I expressed my sadness about his illness he was quick to tell me not to feel sorry for him, he had lived an extraordinary life and he had no regrets. The world would be so much better if we had more Marshalls. My sincere condolences to all of his loved ones.

I didn't know Mr. Dowell, but Kim and I used to work at Moore Cadillac and were also roommates. I know Kim loves her Dad so, very much! I'm sorry for your loss. May God Bless and keep the Dowell family in his good graces.

My heart goes out to the family of one of the nicest, generous and most wonderful people I have had the privilege to know. He, his brother Melvin and I grew up together and we enjoyed many happy memories. May God bless his family in this time of sorrow and be with them always.

I knew Marshall for most of my life thus far. He was a few years older than me and a local legend on the playgrounds of Lakeside. Tether Ball was his game and he was tough. I never have figured out the goal of that game, but you Lakeside men will remember the games on Lakeside Elementary playground. Later in life we reconnected in life via his grandsons Tanner and Jacob who are our step=grandsons for lack of any other term. They loved Mr. Dowell and he loved them. Condolences to his family and friends,
