We have shared our parents lives with each other as the time has gone by, making our concerns and cares a part of each other. Sharing has made the passing easier and the struggles seem less trivial. Friendship has a way of making all things seem easier to deal. Thank you for being there as I continue to deal with my mother's trials. May God make it easier to accept your mother passing. Both of you have been a good son and daughter-in-law. God bless, Brian and Judith

I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Mason's death. The family doesn't know me-- my partner and I purchased the Mason home on Maverick Ave. some twelve years ago. We also attend Carlisle Ave. Baptist Church where Pearl and Ralph attended and are remembered still.
Just yesterday I remarked that the beautiful red rosebush we inherited from the Masons has more gorgeous blooms on it than it has had for eleven years and I thought about taking a few of the roses to Pearl's room at Beaufont.
We love the house on Maverick and think often of the Masons. When stripping wallpaper in a bedroom, we uncovered the words "Darling Boy" written large on the plaster wall-- how dear! Written happily in anticipation of one of her sons, I imagine.
I hope you have many family memories to hold you and comfort you through this time of mourning. Pearl and her family is in our prayers.
Sincerely,
Pam Cowley
