Robert Lee Jimerson Jr.

JIMERSON, Robert Lee Jr., passed away after a long illness on January 19, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Emmaline Michael Jimerson. He is survived by his wife and loving partner of 38 years, Kathleen Sullivan Jimerson; his son, Robert Jimerson III (Katie Barker); daughter, Lisa Merideth (Ricky); son, Jason Jimerson (Jennifer); stepsons, Jeffrey and Michael Whittlesey; grandchildren, Austin, Gibson, Gabriel and Kaleigh Jimerson, Ava Whittlesey (Kenny Sanchez, Jr.), Camryn Whittlesey; and great granddaughter, Isabella Sanchez; his sisters, Barbara McNeace and Antonette Ferris. He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Jacquelyne Jimerson.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 25 at Bliley's Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road. A Christian Funeral service will be held at the Church of the Epiphany, 8000 Hermitage Road on Friday, January 26 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the James River Association.
