Robert Nockengost Obituary

NOCKENGOST Robert Franklin Nockengost, 81, of Colonial Heights, husband of Ema Jean Nockengost, died Thursday, August 10, 2006, in Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg. He was a retired engineer at Allied-Honeywell after 40 years of service. He is survived by twin children, Karen Jean Ott and husband David of Midlothian, Reverend Karl W. Nockengost and wife Sandy of Wilmington, Del.; three grandchildren, Sarah and Laura Nockengost, and Kylie Jean Ott; two cousins, Judge John J. Holschuh of Columbus, Ohio, and Carolyn H. Flamm of Ohio. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2006, at Colonial Christian Church, 295 Dunlop Farms Blvd., Colonial Heights, with the Reverend Clay Boyd and the Reverend Karl Nockengost officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m., Sunday, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Colonial Christian Church Music Fund. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com
