I will miss Ron's smile and kind heart. He was always willing to help anyone. He was such a nice man and great believer of God. Keeping the family in my prayers.

If this is the Ronnie Sutton I remember, he worked at Honda House back in 1965-68. I rode back then. I often wondered what he did with his life, seems he did well. My wife and I attend Fairmount Christian Church. Sorry for your loss, another piece of my history gone.

Ron was my friend since we were in the 5 grade.
We spent many happy hours discussing the best luxury cars (at the time Cadillac or Lincoln Continental), the best sports cars, motorcycles, and garden tractors. Ron had amassed a stack of tractor catalogs a foot high. This was in the day that you couldn´t go on line and find what you wanted. If you. Wanted to read a catalog you had to actually have a hard copy.
When I was given an old power reel type lawnmower by my grandmother, Ron and I built a sulky which we attached to it and rode it around the back yard. It was our first motorized vehicle. We were hot spit.
One of our biggest adventures as kids was attending the VA state fair. Ron and I would save up for months so we could play the fairway games, see the attractions on the midway and eat copious amounts of midway food.
Growing up, Ron was what you would call a tough guy. I never knew him to be afraid of, or to back down from anyone. Yet, he was never a bully and always protected the weakest amongst us. I remember him for his Kindness, Generosity, Caring and defending the underdog, sometimes me.
In his final days, in moments of lucidity, he said to his dear life partner, Patsy, "I an ready, I want to go home".
Eternal life in Heaven with Jesus and the saints is a free gift to those who love the Lord Jesus, and make Him Lord of their lives. This is Ron.
Make no mistake, Ron was a sinner like all of us. But like those of us who have given their lives to Jesus he was and is forever more forgiven.
Good bye my friend. I am looking forward to seeing you in heaven where we will sit and talk for perhaps a hundred years catching up and revisiting our memories of time spent here on this earth.
I will always remember you and love you my friend.
