Sandra Hobson Polston

POLSTON, Sandra Hobson, 76, of Chesterfield, Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 22, 2021, after a long struggle with cancer and Alzheimer's. Sandra is survived by her beloved husband, Marvin Polston Sr.; daughter, Kimberly Hobson Clements; son, Darrell Hobson (Tracy); former husband, Branch Hobson; stepchildren, Marvin Jr., Sherri and Kathy; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Matt), Joshua (Catherine), Austin, Cole, Lauren, Savannah, Lolo, Parker and Brock; four great-grandchildren, Layla, Starlette, Lacie and Kylee; sister, Cynthia Austin; and niece, Pam Bush. Sandra spent her working life managing school cafeterias, where she made teachers and students lives brighter. She lived life to its fullest and was outgoing and kind to all. She enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City, N.J. and thrifting with Marvin. She loved her family and cherished the family get-togethers. A funeral ceremony will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. Interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park.
