Scotty Guinn Dilworth

DILWORTH, Scotty Guinn, 57, of Richmond, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Scotty is survived by her husband, Rich Dilworth; her sisters, Sue Guinn Webb and her husband, Jack Webb, Anne Abby Guinn; and her niece and nephew, Whitney Webb Nall (Brandon), William Parker Webb (Liz); her grandnieces and nephews, Nelson Caleb Nall, Natalie Joy Nall, Beau Piper Nall, Raleigh Louise Webb, Noble Walker Webb, Miranda Evans and Natalya Evans. Scotty was born February 6, 1965, in Richmond, Va. She is a graduate of St. Catherine's School and the University of Virginia.

Scotty was a multi-talented woman whose warm heart, kind spirit and loving ways always drew people to her. She was as beautiful inside as out. Scotty had a great love of the outdoors and was particularly happy when she could be in nature. This love took her to the sunny state of California, where she helped direct films that allowed her to travel all over the world.

After reuniting with Rich in 2004, they were married and warmly embraced by Rich's family back in Virginia. She started her own company, SG Designs, bringing cutting-edge projects like green roofs and living walls her hometown. Scotty's co-workers and clients loved her passion for providing them sustainable, environmentally sensitive solutions for their green spaces. Scotty volunteered widely at local organizations and won awards for her green designs. Besides Rich, family, friends and her work, Scotty's other great passion was her lab, Ford. She spent much of her free time joyfully walking and playing with him. She was dearly loved by everyone who met her.
