What a beautiful email to receive. I love to see Scotty's smile. I have a few acorns intentionally scattered through my house. Every time I see one, I think of Scotty and the value of friendships and kindness. Scotty is definitely missed, but her spirit lingers in the air. I will now begin to celebrate her birthday, instead of her passing day. She would probably like that.

Scotty got rid of my front lawn and introduced me to the joy of planting native plants. She installed a beautiful rain garden in my back yard that reduced my run off. She was a lot of fun to work with and always full of good ideas. I found out she was having health issues when I decided to message her a hello to see how things were going for her and her business during the Pandemic. I was shocked and saddened to see her obituary today when looking for her website. I will never forget her kindness and creativity. When my yard grows and blooms I will think of her. God bless her family.

What a gift to have known Scotty, to work and laugh with her. This planet and community are far better for her presence, which shall endure. This photo of one of her small masterpieces captures a bit of her love and creativity.

I´m so very sad to hear this news. I ran into Scotty at Trader Joe´s a few years ago and enjoyed chatting with her about her amazing business. She was so very lovely. My thoughts and prayers are certainly with Rich and the Guinn and Dilworth families.

I loved Scotty dearly. She had such a kind heart and a beautiful soul. She lived a summer with me in Virginia Beach, and we worked in a Chinese restaurant. When they gave us tiny outfits to wear we went to the bathroom together and squeezed into them. We were laughing so hard, tears streaming down our face, we couldn´t face our new boss. She was a breath of fresh air! Of course Animal lovers are easy to trust, and She loved that little dog Nicky! Im sure Ford was showered with love. My biggest regret is that we lost touch. Rest in peace little Scotty.
