Lynn Counter, 78, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at home.
She was born on Oct. 3, 1946, in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of Dale R. and Kathleen (Morris) Minton.
Lynn was a 1964 graduate of Wilmington High School and was active with the Greene Countrie Towne Festival, G3, Y-Gradale, Mother's Club, and McClain Football Moms.
She was formerly employed as a receptionist at Johnson Controls and Weastec for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Counter, whom she married on July 21, 1973, one daughter, Delinda (Andrew) Bonkosky of Pinckney, Michigan, and one son, Scott (Mercedes) Counter of Dublin, Ohio, three sisters, Laura Davis of Beavercreek, Ohio, Lou Ann (Steve) Beem of Columbus, Indiana, and Lois Minton of Cincinnati, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents and her niece Jennifer Davis Pate.
Cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Highland County Humane Society (P.O. Box 471, Hillsboro, OH 45133) or the donor's favorite charity.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Adena Hospice for their kind and efficient care.

I had the pleasure of working with Lynn at Dr. Faris´ Dentist Office while in high school. I remember Lynn always so kind and pleasant with everyone that entered the office. She was such a pretty person. I´m so sorry for your loss.
