Wanda Jean (Jackson) Collins, 85, of Hillsboro, passed away on Jan. 30, 2021, peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lee County, Virginia on April 6, 1935, the daughter of the late Mary P. and Willie Jackson.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 67 years, Blaine E. Collins, of Hillsboro; sons, Mark and Kristina Collins of Oxford, Michigan, Steve and Debra Collins of New Carlisle, David and Shelly Collins of Chesterfield, Virginia and Daryl and Denise Collins of Forest, Virginia; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Doris and Earl Rickey of Miamisburg; brothers, Nickey and Barbara Jackson of Washington, C.H. and Gary Jackson of Chillicothe; along with many other friends and family members.
Her greatest joy as a teenage was accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior and she was truly an example of the virtuous woman from the Proverbs 31. Her faith never waivered as she served God by using her gifts and talents for others. As stated in 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV), "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…"

I have known Blaine and Wanda since I was a young child and spent time at their home. What a great blessing they are to this day. They have served the Lord with gladness and now she is churning up the gold dust !!
