Monte Weneck Obituary

Monte F. Weneck of Spring City, died on Jan. 22, 2014, age 73. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Weneck and Ruby Goodsell, and step-siblings Bernard, Margaret (Peggy), and Kathleen. He is survived by his brother Edward Weneck (Carlisle, PA), children Michele Poore (Conshohocken, PA) and Robert Weneck (Pottstown, PA), and six grandchildren. Monte was an active member of the Spring City and Phoenixville communities. He volunteered time with local church activities and was a member of several civic-minded organizations. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served honorably as an infantryman stationed in Germany. Monte's memorial service will be conducted by Deacon Joe Dietz and is scheduled Saturday, February 1st at 1pm in the St. Peter's Church (http://saintpeterschurch.net/), 121 Church St., Phoenixville, PA.

I was so sorry to hear of montes passing. He was a regular at Springford diner every day where he will be so missed! No matter how he was feeling you could always count on a friendly smile from him along with a few kind words! I will miss our conversations about his latest lucky lottery ticket.
