Gilbert Salgado Obituary

In memory of my loving husband, Gilbert, who passed away at the age of 51 from a long illness.

He leaves behind his wife Janet of 24 years; son, Pedro; three grandchildren, Pedro Jr., Cruz and Jessie Marie; three

sisters, Flora, Alicia and Lucia; two nieces, Serena and Leticia; three nephews, Gabe, Dominic, and Isaiah; and his mother, Jessie, 91 years old.

We will miss him dearly, he will live in our hearts forever. A very special man with many talents. He was founder and president of the first low rider car club in Vallejo, "Imaginations."

Spent heartfelt times trying to find words that would express the life time friendship we shared from our childhood and through the ages. Then it dawned upon me that only once in a lifetime can a friendship as we shared mean so much that everything is said in with the same Love and Memories felt so many times in the Hello when we kept meeting each other through out our life. With our unwritten promise never to say goodbye. . You will remain were you have always been. Smile of our smile. Laugh of our laugh. Childhood of our childhood. Memories of our memories. Until we meet again.

I am so sad to hear about Gilbert passing. Gilbert and my brother Yul were best friends as kids. We lived right around the corner from the Salgado's and we all went to school together. My prayers go out to Gilbert's family.
