Earl Cunningham Obituary

Mr. Earl J. Cunningham Sr., of Rowe Lane, Plymouth, died Monday morning at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late William and Christine Bellas Cunningham, and attended GAR High School. He had served in the Army during peacetime. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the A. Rifkin Co. of Hanover Township. Mr. Cunningham was a member of the Pilgrim Congregational Church of Plymouth, where he served on the board of Deacons and was a former choir member. He had been a contributing member of Hose Company 1, Plymouth. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Margaret Harrison; sons, Earl Jr. and his wife Kathy, Plymouth; John and his wife, Barbara, Jacksonville, Fla.; Scott, Plymouth, and Blake and his fiancée, Jody, Jackson Township, six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, William, England; sisters, Nancy Verry, New Mexico; Jane Ogin, Kingston Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth, with the Rev. Edward Gospodinsky officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 163 Center Ave., Plymouth, PA 18651
