EXETER — George Michael Antonik, 85, of Exeter, passed away on Oct. 4, 2021, at his home surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Jessup, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Tocheny) Antonik.
George graduated from Exeter High School and served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a general manager of Consolidated Cigar factory and worked at Charmin paper plant before opening George's Reloading Gun Shop, Exeter.
He loved everything hunting and fishing and especially his dogs Buddy and Dolly.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gemma (Ascani) Antonik; daughters, Catherine Champi and her husband, Louis, of Exeter, Laura Vargo and her husband, Andrew, of Meshoppen; and Georgette Brunner and her husband, Glenn, of Lompoc, Calif.; three grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA.
