John Morris Obituary
John J. Morris, 97, of Wilkes-Barre, died Jan. 19, 2025. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in St. Anthony/St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 311 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Arrangements are in the care of Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral Home, 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.

To the family of John Morris, he was a great man, and he will be highly missed, we had the opportunity of meeting him when he was under the care of my sister Susan Helfrich, We really enjoyed his visits with us, and he really enjoyed himself too. To the Morris family, I am so sorry for the loss of Johnny. I knew him through Dominic Mack, they were great friends and found many was to get into mischief together. He was a nice man and always so kind, I am sure he and Dominic are already playing cards! May he rest in peace.

Dear Morris Family. We are so sorry for your loss. Every time we would see him in church or at The Knights Of Lebanon Land he would greet us with a big smile and so much kindness. I love how he always said " I´m in my 90´s and I don´t take one pill." I always responded. "YOU'RE MY HERO!" Rest in peace Johnny. You are one of a kind and will never be forgotten!!! GOD BLESS ALWAYS!!!
