Kathleen M. Miller, 90, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024, with her family by her side, in Saint Augustine, Fla.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 70-plus years, Norman; her daughter, Mary Lou Belmont (Bruce); son, Joseph (Jamie); Donna and Brian Gill; grandchildren: Holly Greer (Rick), Terra Miller and Brian Gill (Stephanie); sister-in-law, Nancy Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two sons: William and Edward; her brothers: George, Harold, Michael and Ralph Adams; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph and Helen Ann Miller; sister-in-law, Eleanor Adams; and her mother and father-in-law.
Kathleen was born Jan. 9, 1934, in Edwardsville, Pa., to the late Michael and Margaret Adams, and graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1953. Kathleen married Norman Miller, the love of her life, on June 13, 1953, and they spent most of their lives in Larksville, Pa. She was employed by RCA in Mountain Top, Pa., and Wyoming Valley West School District, Kingston, Pa.
Kathleen was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who had many interests and hobbies including being the president of the Larksville Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary, and volunteering at the Area Agency on Aging. Kathleen loved to try new things, and she had a passion for roller skating, especially teaching young children how to skate, which she actively pursued at LS Skatearama, Nanticoke, Pa.
Kathleen's faith was an important part of her life, and she was an active member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Larksville, Pa., for most of her life, where she was president of the Ladies Guild, served as a cantor, and sang in the choir.
A private service was held from Craig Funeral Home in Saint Augustine, Fla. Funeral services will be held in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

I am sorry to learn of Mrs. Miller's passing. I went to school with Billy and Eddie. I have nice memories of visiting your house on Third Street. Listening to Cheech and Chong records and playing with the Duda kids. Summer festivals at St. John's and at the VFD were fun.

The Miller Family has been and will always be very special and will hold a happy place in my heart. I wish to offer my condolences to all especially Norman her loving husband. This family was very close to our family and Norman and Kathy were my dad's best friend and constant companion. Take care Norman I miss and think of you both quite often. Love Mark Scott.
