PITTSTON TWP. — Michael C. Magowan, 69, of Pittston Township, passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at home.
Born Thursday, Feb. 7, 1946, in Milford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Charles and Frances (Bordo) Magowan. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Walter Magowan; and sisters, Betty Magowan, Melva Walton and Sandy D'Antonio.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Colarusso) Magowan; daughters, Tina Magowan, Exeter, Lori Magowan, Pittston Township; brother, Robert and wife, Marge Magowan, Milford; sisters, Irene and husband, John Gaglione, Milford; Mary Magowan, North Haven, Connecticut; Patty Magowan, West Haven, Connecticut; Debbie Homa, Milford; Pamela and husband, Rick Kerns, West Haven; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township.

I worked with Mike at Intermetro industries. Great worker, tough as hell and one of the funniest people I have ever met. It was a pleasure to work with him and I'm sure he will be missed by many of his co-workers.
