SCRANTON — Patricia F. Williams passed away peacefully Dec. 16, 2024, at Allied Skilled Nursing Center, where she resided for the past few years.
She was a loving, devoted person to her husband of 58 years with two loving children. She had four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was a stay at home mom who took much pleasure in cooking, canning, and pickling, making many great dishes. She overcame many obstacles and had great strength.
In her time at Allied she roomed with her husband, Kenneth Williams, and they stayed devoted to one another until his death on Dec. 17, of 2023.
She was preceded in death by her fatherm, Sheldon Youells; mother, Helen Youells; brother, John Youells; and son, Sheldon Williams.
Surviving are her brothers: David Youells and James Youells; sister-in-law, Helen Youells; and sister-in-law, Susan Youells; along with daughter, Sandra McClintock and husband (Pete); daughter-in-law, Leanne Williams; grandchildren: Mitchell McClintock and wife (Shanee); Melody Cottrell and husband (Kenneth); Emily WiIlliams; and Maxwell Williams; and great-grandchildren: Martha, Beatrice, Claudia, Evelyn, Kenneth Jr., Cottrell, and Kilian McClintock.
Special thanks to all Allied Skilled staff, especially all on the south second floor — all CNAs, who stayed devoted all the years to mom, and all nurses, especially Amy (head nurse) and Crystal P. (social worker), much gratitude and thanks also to Dr. Barry Minora and staff for all their years of care and dedication to Patricia. Much gratitude to all the staff at Allied Hospice, especially Brenda, Jonathan and his helper, and Cheryl Mozdian (music therapist).

We will honor and celebrate her life with a memorial service at the convenience of the family.
