Baden

Nancy A. Sopko, 78, of Baden, died Sunday, January 5, 2020, at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born August 31, 1941, in Ambridge, the daughter of the late Stephen and Anne Petros Layciak. She was retired from Rhodes Transit, a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church and was a former member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, James A. Sopko; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Beth Anne and John Palladini, Baden, Julia Anne and Keith Foster, Chippewa Twp. and Sue Anne Gill, Baden; two grandchildren, Joel Palladini and his wife, Lauren and Kaitlyn Gill and one great-granddaughter, Everly Palladini, all of North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Layciak

Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Good Samaritan Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.
