I am so sorry to learn of Yoshi's passing. I have lived in Phoenix, Arizona for many years, and while attempting to reach out and call him today, I learned of his passing. Yoshi was a great friend and amazing teacher and guide. He left a lasting impression on me and many others that will not be forgotten. Many blessings to his family. Mark Wesbrooks

I just recently found out that Yoshi had passed. Yoshi and I both came to Midwestern in 1978. I left in 1989 and moved to Virginia to serve on the faculty at Radford University. I was heartbroken when I learned of his passing. He was absolutely one of my best friends at MWSU. I remember helping him replace his roof when he expanded his house. I am so sorry and deepest sympathy to his family.

Carmie, Yoshi, Sami, and Kenji: I am so sad to hear of Yoshi's passing. I knew him to be a very kind man, much like my dad. Sending you all blessings and prayers.

I s am so very sorry. In the time I knew Yoshi I found him to be a true gentleman who rose above the day to day politics of a university and focused on its true mission: educating students..

Dear Fukasawa Family,
I was a fraternity brother and roommate of Yoshi in Hays. I left Hays in January of '72 and lost track of many of my dear friends and unfortunately Yoshi was one of those friends I thought of often but never found the time to seek out. I often thought about Yoshi and every time he came to mind, it brought a smile to my face. He was special to me but I can't imagine how special he was to you.
I am deeply sorry for your loss and i will remember Yoshi always.
God Bless...
