Our deepest sympathies to all at this time of loss but a celebration of life at the same time. It was a joy to see the smile on your Dad's face as we sang for him in August. God Bless.

My Dear Betsy and Ernie: So saddened to learn of the passing of your father....He was such a great guy, and I was so happy to see him in later years as he was able to visit my mother when she was in the nursing home. I'm sure you are thankful that he lived such a long life, but we are never ready to give them up. I was home today and watched from my home your beautiful ceremony at the Church. I relived the 21 gun salute and Taps. I cried many tears, as I haven't heard that down there since my daddy died many years ago. God Bless our fathers who served, and God Bless you both and your families in your loss. Please take care.........
Lovingly, Virginia Lynn Carmack Edwards

Always Mr. Ross to me, I never met a man so deserving of the title Mister. Hired to gather eggs at age 13 in 1962, I spent five years working almost daily with Ernie. He was always kind, unfrazzled, and funny ------ his self-effacing account of the man who asked him if he could paint a tree in the pasture still tears me up. Humble, honest, and honorable. ….a fine, fine man, who made a real difference in my life.
The best to his family and friends.

A very special person indeed. So blessed to have sung for him at Ernie's home; one of our biggest fans. He has reached his final home and is present with the Lord. Comfort and peace to Ernie, Betsy and their families.
