GENEVE BOYD Obituary

Geneve L. (Stilgenbauer) Boyd

93, of New Philadelphia found peace with her Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Born September, 28, 1925 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Clara (Espenschied) Stilgenbauer. She enjoyed cooking and being with her family. Geneve's faith was nurtured at the First Church of the Nazarene where she was a member.

Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Geneve will be deeply missed by her children, William and his companion, Debbie Dommer and Thomas and Dorene Boyd; five grandchildren, Daniel (Tana), David, Ashley, Justin (Rachel) and Jason; 3 great-grandchildren; Brock, Daniel and William; one expected great-grandchild, Isabelle; sisters, Yvonne Kerch, Naomi (Ed) Menges, Janet (Dale) Liggett, and Gwen (Ray) Burkhart; and furry companion, Cassie. Geneve is preceded in death by her late husband Robert W., who she married June 1, 1947; two sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. A service celebrating Geneve's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Mark Maddux officiating. Burial will follow in East Avenue Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his memory may be directed to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 or Tusc. County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Rd. NE, New Philadelphia. Those wishing to do so may send the family a personal condolence and light a candle in remembrance of Geneve by visiting the funeral home website, www.geibcares.com.
