Nathan Gribble Obituary
age 25, of Dover, died suddenly on May 16, 2014 in the Cleveland Clinic. Born Jan. 11, 1989 in New Philadelphia, he was the son of Rick Hutchison and Terri Gribble.
Nathan had a heart of gold and could light up a room with his smile. His family was very special to him, especially his daughters. He graduated from Dover High School in 2007. He was very passionate about his music and was a very talented guitar player and song writer. He enjoyed skateboarding, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. He had an abundance of important friends in his life that he cared very much about. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved practical jokes. He would do anything to make someone smile. No one could meet Nate without liking him. He had a very special way with children and was brought great joy by spending time with his family and friends children. Nathan will be sadly missed by many.
He is survived by his mother, Terri Gribble; his father, Rick (Nettie) Hutchison; his daughters, Adeline and Amelia Gribble and their mother, Chantel Blankenship; grandparents, Abe and Linda Marner, Terry E. and Carol Gribble, and Sandy Hutchison; great-grandparents, Helen and Clarence Morgan, and Loretta Grove; two sisters, Danielle Gribble and Erika Hutchison; two brothers, Drew Hutchison and Chad Franklin; aunts and uncle, Mark Gribble, Matt (Angela) Henary, Michelle (Scott) Shook, Brian (Heather) Gribble, Brent (Trisha) Gribble, Jason Gribble, Lori (Chris) Ricklic, Steve (Holly) Hutchison; and a nephew and numerous cousins. Nathan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald W. Hutchison; and two great-grandparents, William Grove and Merle Freetage.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. & 6 to 8 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover, 5600 North Wooster Avenue. Pastor Archie Jackson will officiate a funeral service on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Dover Burial Park. Condolences may be extended to the family at DavisFuneralHomeWV.com. The Davis Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gribble Family.

One of the most outstanding qualities about Nate was his smile. His smile could warm a heart. His smile was contagious. His smile could be seen up to his eyes. His smile could brighten a gloomy day. What a sweet cousin he was to the girls (although they often would say uncle Nate). It's said that when you lose a loved one, you gain an angel. This is true when speaking of Nate. Sis, sissy, and the rest of the family...my heart and prayers go out to you.

Nathan was a part of my family for many years through my son Mike. He always called me grandma Cookie even after my son and Terri broke up. He always told me he loved me and I always told him I loved him because I did and I always will. He told by grandson not long before he left this world that he loved my son and I know my son always loved Nate and Danielle and Terri. I had to be the one to tell him about Nate and he cried his eyes out. Nate we love you and will miss you so much. My heart goes out to Terri and the rest of the family. May God give you peace. I only got to hang out with Nathan twice. In that short time, we talked about everything: Life, love, God, Pain. I didn't get to know Nathan gribble very well. But I know one thing.
