I am so sorry to learn of Carl´s passing at such a young age. He served as coach for our high school speech and debate team and we very much appreciated his work facilitating our attendance at many weekend tournaments. I remember many good laughs and lots of practical support. Condolences to all who miss him.

Carl and I graduated together from high school. He was one of the best guys I ever knew and I am totally saddened by his passing. My most favorite memory of him was when we were in Albany for a competition, and I was in a ballet scene. Our costumes were light and it was cold on stage. When we were done, Carl took of his suit jacket and put it around my shoulders. What a thoughtful thing to do! My funniest memory of him was how he always said he wanted to become the future president of the USA. I really hoped he would, but he always made me chuckle when he said it. He will always have a special place in my heart.

I was saddened to learn of Carl's passing. I have know Carl since 1991 when I first affiliated with SunAmerica. I had sold my insurance business and ventured into securities, with minimal experience and much apprehension. Carl became my mentor as I made this change but more importantly, he became a friend and confidant. I will miss him and his wit.
