Gorman; her four children, James W. Gorman, William J. Gorman, Michael S. Gorman and Kimberly S. Miller; her sister, Margaret Vumbaco; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Sophia Gorman; her brother, Henry Ploof; and her sister Maryann Freemantle. A special thank you to, daughter-in-law, Donna Gorman who spent many hours caring for Cecelia in her time of need. Dear Aunt Cele, you will be sorely missed but what a wonderful legacy, memories and beautiful family you have created. You were one of the special ones - warm, caring, giving and loving. And those are just some of the quick thoughts that come to me when I think of you. May you rest in peace and enjoy the endless card games in heaven with your friends and family.

First I would like to sincerely convey my condolences to the family. My prayers are with you all in this time of need. I know she is sharing a laugh with my father as they are both looking down on us all. A flood of memories came back when I heard of Cele's passing. The first thing I thought of was the picture she gave to me when Kim and I were sitting in the backyard feeding the squirrels peanuts at age 2, I grew up across the alley from the family, spent countless hours in their house with Michael and Kim, had sleepovers, party's in both yards, cookouts, many conversations over the fence, as we aged. Kim was my best friend as a young child and growing up, sharing many things, birthdays 2 days apart. I don't think I can recall it all. She was a second mom to me, she was a second mom to every kid that grew up on our block, always looking out for us all. I remember she was a excellent artist I could be captivated by her painting on the weekends when I was over there. I am sure more memories will be flooding back, she is and will be sorely missed by me and my family.. God bless you all and know she is safe and happy and looking down on us all......

Dear Aunt Cele-
You will be missed by all- you were such a great person. Do you remember when Grandma Wood passed (your Aunt Laura)? It was a dark period in my life, and yet you comforted me at the graveside by showing me a sunbeam & telling me that was her path to God & Heaven. That was the kind of person you were-thoughtful & loving.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family-I know you are at peace.
Love, Laurie Wood Germano

So sorry to hear of your loss. Cele was such a sweet caring women and as a child I have fond memories of her when I was growing up next door to you on 24th street in the early 50's. To the Gorman family; My heartfelt condolences go out to you on the passing of a great lady. She treated us kids like we were one of her own. We used to kid and call her "Midge" because of her height and she would laugh along with us. Many great memories are etched in my brain because of her. RIP "Midge"
