In just about every memory I have of Claire, she's smiling. Oftentimes she´d be on the move, going to her next activity and she was always looking forward to whatever it was. I´d get a chuckle on the weekends when she´d go to the farmer's market and come back with something new for me to try. One time, knowing I was a fan of it, she bought a whole bunch of biscotti and gave me half the bag. Another, she saw me standing in the lobby and loaded up my hands with orange scones because she enjoyed them so much and wanted to share the experience. It brings a huge smile to my face to think of her. She really wanted others to be happy and cared for, and that extended to our pets. She was so kind and loving to all our animals at the Residences. My tanny loved seeing her.

And when there was trouble, she´d offer genuine compassion, her medical expertise, and help in any other capacity she could think of - quite sincerely, anything she could do.

She was a beautiful person and it meant a lot to me to have her as a friend.

My heart goes out to her family, friends, patients, and anyone else who may have been lucky enough to cross her path. It´s a terrible loss.

We are very grateful that Claire had an apartment just down the hall from us. She was always friendly and quite an inspiration for living an active life. She invited us to learn Mahjongg, and now we both play weekly! She is missed.
We could tell that she was so proud of and deeply loved her family.
Our heartfelt condolences.

I am saddened to read this news about your mother. Although I haven't seen her in many years, I remember her well from my childhood as she was a close friend of my brother Robert and she was always so pretty and kind. When I was about 8-years-old she was probably 16, she wore her blonde hair in a ponytail with a little scarf tied around the elastic and I thought it looked so grown up and sophisticated that I tried it, too. I hope you find some solace in all your beautiful memories of your mother.

To Claire´s family - I wish to offer my sincere sympathy for the loss of your mother. I spent a lot of social time with your mother playing bridge and mahjong while living at The Residences. We always had so much in common that it was easy to chat with her. She loved her family very much and especially her grandchildren. I´m sure she is in a better place. May she Rest In Peace!
