Eileen Keane

Keane, Eileen ALBANY Johnny Cash's biggest fan passed away peacefully on October 8, 2021. Eileen Keane was born in Albany on December 12, 1941. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Keane and Christine Broderick Keane, and by her brother, Thomas Keane. Eileen will be missed by her family and friends at the Arcadia Court and Regan house residences where she has resided since her mother's passing in 1996. The love they gave to Eileen is immeasurable and her family is forever grateful. Eileen was the kindest woman and could light up any room with her sweet disposition. Eileen enjoyed bingo, playing cards, dancing and singing. Eileen loved going to her day program at Warren Washington ARC where she enjoyed doing crafts, making packages and donations for seniors and the troops abroad, and winning her many awards that she was so proud of. Holidays will not be the same without aunt Eileen singing along with us. Survivors include her brother, John (Rosemary) of Albany; sister-in-law, Judith of Maryland; her nieces and nephew, Kathleen, Susan (Jonathon), Debra (Scott), Sharon (Bill), Michael, Tina (Tim), Alison (Frank), and Amy (John); and many grandnieces, grandnephews, and best friends, who loved her so much at the Regan house. Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 18, in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours for the family will be held privately. Interment in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
