Goodman, Frances Beth ALBANY On Thursday, September 30, 2021, Frances Beth Goodman passed away at the age of 88, in Albany. Fran was born on September 19, 1933, in the Bronx to Samuel and Dorothy Eisenstadt. She formerly worked as a math tutor in the public school system, and as a school secretary at Ohav Shalom in Albany. She leaves behind her loving husband David, of 62 years; along with four children, 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild: Laura Glindmyer and her husband JC of Albany, and their children, Josh and Ben; Ken Goodman and his wife Maria of Hampton, Conn., and their children, Rachel, Sarah and Adam; Gail Budin and her husband Leo of Chandler, Ariz. and their children, Jake and Alex; Julie Goodman and her partner Steve of Albany, and her children, Seth, Sam and Zach. She was happiest when her children or grandchildren were visiting, especially with their dogs. She loved animals. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 3, in the Congregation Beth Emeth Cemetery, 58 Turner Lane, also known as Cemetery Road, Loudonville at 12:15 p.m. Donations may be sent to the Congregation Beth Emeth of Albany, Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center of Albany, The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
