Isidore "Irv" Zoota

Zoota, Isidore "Irv" FRAMINGHAM, Mass. Isidore " Irv" Zoota, age 83, of Framingham, former Capital District resident, died on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Oak Knoll Healthcare Center in Framing-ham. Born in the Bronx, Mr. Zoota was a graduate of the City College of New York. He had been employed as an accountant for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany, retiring in 1989. Irv was an Army veteran and served during World War II. He was also a member of Congregation Beth Emeth in Albany. Mr. Zoota was married to Rene Zamos Zoota until her passing in 1998. Loving Father of Stephen Zoota and his wife Nina of NYC, Caren Schindel and her husband Lester of Framingham and Felice Zoota and her partner Teresa of Torrance, Calif.; brother of Jerry Zoota, Murray Zoota, Shirley Mirer and Elaine Kramer, all of Calif.; grandfather of Matt, Ronna, Genna, Renee, Joey, David and Lauren. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue in Albany on Tuesday July 27, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Beth Emeth Cemetery, Loudonville, N.Y.
