I'm sorry for your loss. I met Jim at a BLHS dinner and had a wonderful time with him. He went to High School with my Uncle Edward Golden from Troy. He will be missed by many.

Dear Jim,
Thank you for doing what you did all these years. If it weren't for you, none of us not fortunate enough to have seen those good old days would not have a portrait of what it was really like.
We are so grateful for your brilliance and dedication to the railroad preservation community. Your work will live on for eternity.
Although I only had the honour of meeting you on one occasion, it was certainly a privilege.
Highball and Godspeed, Jim, and may you be riding the head end of a big steamer on your new journey.
