Austin, Jason P. SCOTIA Jason P. Austin, 42, of Scotia Glenville was called to the Lord on August 10, 2018. Jason was born August 11, 1975, in Niskayuna. He was the son of Keith and Judith Austin. Jason graduated from Schenectady Christian Schools, Geneva College in Pennsylvania and the University of Dayton Law School, Ohio. Jason was a staff attorney with the law firm of Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP in Albany. Jason was predeceased by his grandparents, Henry and Elsie Roberts and Willard Austin. He is survived by his grandmother, Dorothy Austin. Also survived by uncle and aunt, Carlton and Ardis Johnson III; and several cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, August 16, at the First Presbyterian Church, 209 Union Street, Schenectady. Family and friends are invited to visit with Jason's family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15 at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., Schenectady. In lieu of flowers memorial donations would be appreciated to City Mission at 425 Hamilton St. Schenectady, N.Y. 12305 or Spa Christian School at 206 Greenfield Ave. Ballston Spa, N.Y. 12020.
