John Cicero Obituary

ALBANY John C. Cicero, D.M.D., passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at the Teresian House. He was born in Bristol, R.I. on January 15, 1924 and was the son of the late Bartolo and Maria Oliva Cicero. Dr. Cicero was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving his country during World War II. He was a graduate of Union College in Schenectady and Tufts University in Boston, Mass. He had a dental practice in Schenectady for many years. After retiring in 1981, Dr. Cicero established residences in Pembroke and Plymouth, Mass. and returned to this area in 1999. Dr. Cicero was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. He was a member and past president of the 4th District Dental Society and a member of the Walhalla Country Club. Dr. Cicero was the husband of the late Eleanor Byron Cicero and Margaret Drew Cicero. He is the brother of Angelo Cicero of Spokane, Wash. and the late Victor Cicero, Frank Cicero, Samuel Cicero, Josephine Puliafico, Lena Criscione, Mary Buehler and Carmella Fleming. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Teresian House. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of John C. Cicero, D.M.D.
