To Lou Ann's family and friends ~ I worked with her at Saratoga Race Track. She was such a hard worker and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed and thought of often during the upcoming season. It will be hard to not see her behind the bar. I am sorry for your loss and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

She was one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was always open and honest with her heart, love, time and advise. May she rest in peace. She will be truly missed by so many. Love you always Momma Lou! Wish I could have saved you like I did that Christmas Tree of yours...(lol-- Her tree came crashing down and she called me in hysterics and I went over as fast as I could to put it back up. One of my favorite stories that I will always have with her)

Words of sympathy feel inadequate in expressing sorrow for a loss this great. Lou Ann was truly a special lady. Always with a hug and a smile. So many fond memories and so many great times spent with Lou Ann over the years. I will never forget the potato chips that escaped on my boat that summer day. Shelly, Christina and Micheal, your mom will be greatly missed. I am wishing you all as well as Joe peace and comfort during this unimaginable time. RIP Lou

Lou Ann was one of the warmest and kindest people I ever met. If you were Lou’s friend you were her friend for life. I will miss our text and phone calls just to catch up and talk about life. Lou was a fixture at the track and one of my all time favorite fellow bartenders. Lou Ann fought cancer like a champ and lived everyday to its fullest. Lou never complained and was an inspiration to all. No doubt opening day at the track I will be thinking of my friend Lou Ann RIP you will be missed

Lou Ann was one of those people who always made you feel important and welcomed and loved. She lit up the room with her sunny spirit and radiated love and enthusiasm. She was and will always be a role model to me of how a mom should love her children. I will greatly miss her.

To LouAnn’s loved ones, I am deeply sorry for your loss. LouAnn and I met during high school and we have remained best friends for all these years. She was always there for her friends, organizing evenings at the Red Front, days at Saratoga Race Track, and coming to special events in her friend’s lives. Just to name a few: my son’s wedding in Nashville and my retirement party in Chicago. Oh! Yes, Heaven has gained an Angel, may God hold her in the palm of His hands and may her memory be eternal.
