Paul M. Rogers

Rogers, Paul M. AVERILL PARK Paul M. Rogers 47 of Burden Lake Road, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at his residence surrounded by family and friends after an extended illness. Born in Albany, Paul was the beloved son of Joseph C. and Diana J. Sheehan Rogers of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Paul grew up in the Town of Nassau and was a 1993 graduate of Columbia High School and had resided in Averill Park since 2002. He worked with his parents at their business, the Sand Lake Beverage Center, and other jobs until he began his career at Local 35 Elevator Constructors Union in Albany, where he was an elevator constructor working with area companies, the most recent being Otis Elevator. Paul was a former race car owner and driver at Lebanon Valley, driving car # 77. He enjoyed gambling and golf. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his devoted brother, Nicholas (Carly) Rogers of Poestenkill; his nephews, Nicholas and Zachary; and niece, Emma Rogers; his aunt, Joann (Robert) Trombly of Chazy, N.Y.; his companion Katie Bentley of Averill Park; and his "BFF" Beth Dellea of Averill Park. Relatives and friends are invited to call 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake Averill Park.
